Windsor Essex Christian Soccer League
The Windsor Essex Christian Soccer League (W.E.C.S.L.) is a co-ed recreational soccer league for children and teenagers five to twenty-one years of age. This soccer league serves our local schools and churches.
The goal of the W.E.C.S.L. is to give participants a Christian-based environment in which to play soccer. Positive encouragement and instruction make this league an enjoyable experience for all skill levels.
Who?
This year we are offering new age groups. (Groups may change depending on registration numbers) Youth aged 4-21 (as of December 2012). Categories are Mite (ages 4-5), Primary (ages 6-7), Junior (ages 8-9), Intermediate (ages 10-11), Senior (ages 12-13), Teen (ages 14-17) and Pro (ages 18-21).
When?
All games are played on Tuesday evenings between 5pm and 9pm from April 24th, until July 24th with no scheduled practices. Each player receives a jersey, socks and a trophy at the end of the season. In addition, hotdogs, chips and beverages are served at a very reasonable price.
Where?
All games are played at Windsor Christian Fellowship on the soccer fields located behind the church on the east side of the property. Parking is available in the north and south lots which is a short walk to the fields. The fields look fantastic!!!
